Long-Term Client Partnership: Client-Executive
DLGL believes in long term client relationships and this is fostered by the assignment of a Client Executive (CE) for each client. The CE is a senior DLGL employee, empowered to carryout all tasks in relation to effectively supporting his/her client. The CE will be involved in all stages of the project from development & implementation to on-going support. The CE, along with his/her support team, will develop an intimate understanding of their client’s business and specifically on how VIP supports it, now and into the future. Some CEs have been coordinating the same clients since 1994.

A formal gap analysis study, with DLGL Primes and client
Subject Matter Experts reviewing VIP in detail, is performed before
any contract is signed. The deliverable – a comprehensive report and implementation
plan allowing the client to make a truly informed decision before committing
to a contract.
- Implementation and Conversion Support
From DLGL, the author and vendor of VIP, clients
will receive extensive support in relation to the implementation of the
software and the conversion of legacy data. No 3rd parties are required.
- Customization and Maintenance
DLGL will customize VIP to meet client
specific requirements and then maintain the customizations
(see Who
maintains the customizations?) as well. DLGL’s
unique approach allows clients to protect and continually
leverage their initial investment without any risk that
the customizations will be overridden or that the customizations
will exclude the client from any future functional enhancements
to VIP.

implementation and on-going support, with levels of support varying from

Clients have access to the R&D of not only DLGL but
to the pooled R&D of all VIP clients. Specific functionality from any
client version is made available to all other clients as well. Clients
choose whatever new functionality is available from DLGL or within
any client specific version based upon their own business requirements,
based upon their own timeframes. There are no imposed updates initiated
by DLGL and no risk to a future update path.
